A credential has a scope.

Access opens within the rule.

At expiry, access ends.

These are editable local test records, not on-chain NFTs or proof of identity. They cannot grant access to a real platform.

The rule

Permission is conditional.

Scope first. A reading-room invitation does not open the host room.

Time matters. The exact expiry timestamp is the first denied instant.

Revocation wins. A role never overrides a revoked credential.

Why a community utility token?

Key Turnip Access is a proposed application token for portable access to rule tools and contribution records across communities. The local studio works without a token. Shared service access would require real integrations and a validated service model; none is connected here. Token balance alone must never grant community access. No token has been issued, and no payment or signature is requested.
